DescriptionBelrose & Terrey Hills Computer Pals for Seniors, Inc (BTH Computer Pals) was founded in 2000 and provides computer training for Seniors (over 55) in most aspects of computer use - starting with complete beginners and working through many specialist applications. We are located in the Terrey Hills Community Centre, are staffed entirely by volunteers, and service Belrose, Terrey Hills, Frenchs Forest and surrounding areas.
Our volunteer team allows the fees for computer training to be kept very affordable. Our policy of “one on one” tuition, using trainers with direct experience relevant to the needs of each student, has received widespread acclaim.
Membership costs $25 per year plus $25 per quarter for training (about $2 per class) or $75 for all four Quarters.
Students can choose as many quarters as they require, or alternatively can join as "non-tuition Members" at a fee of $35 instead of the normal $25 – this provides access to BTH Computer Pals’ monthly SAGE Newsletter plus the ability to attend one or more of the many Workshops conducted throughout the year.
Details of the training available, together with Workshop details, are provided in the “Services” section below.

ServicesComputer lessons are provided by both weekly classes and various Workshops.
Each weekly session is one hour. Students are assigned a trainer with experience directly relevant to the Student’s needs. Our policy of “one on one” tuition ensures that Students are not stuck in classes with other people who may need to learn at a faster or slower rate.
Both tuition Members and non-tuition Members can also elect to attend one or more of the many Workshops held throughout the year. Workshops are typically of either one afternoon or two afternoon’s duration, depending on the course selected.
Workshop fees range from $15 to $35 (based on course content and duration) and cover subjects including Windows Basics, Mastering your Files & Folders, Using E-Mail, Skype for free or low-cost Phone Calls, Digital Photography, Photo Editing, Photo Restoration, The Internet, Ebay and Online Shopping, Facebook, Creative PowerPoint, Spreadsheets, Desktop Publishing, Genealogy and more.
All classes and Workshops are subject to availability.
